Affiliate Program Guidelines
The full terms governing participation in The MAAT Gathering Place of Healing Affiliate Program. Please review these guidelines before submitting your application.
Commission Eligibility
- Commissions are earned on completed, paid transactions referred through your unique affiliate referral link or promo code.
- Qualifying transactions include appointments, event registrations, memberships, marketplace products, and yoni steam bookings.
- A transaction is eligible for commission only after the client has paid in full and the service or product has been delivered. Deposits alone do not trigger a commission until the balance is collected.
- Commissions are not earned on transactions that are refunded, canceled, charged back, or flagged as fraudulent.
- Self-referrals, referrals to immediate family members, and referrals made using your own referral code for personal purchases are not eligible.
- Commission rates are set per campaign or per affiliate tier and may be updated by MAAT at any time. Changes do not affect commissions already earned.
Payment Schedule
- Commissions are initially recorded as "pending" and move to "approved" after the transaction is confirmed and any refund window has passed (typically 14 days).
- Approved commissions are paid out on a monthly cycle, by the 15th of the following month.
- A minimum payout threshold of $25.00 must be reached before a payout is issued. Balances below the threshold roll over to the next cycle.
- Payouts are delivered via your selected payment method (PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, or check by mail). MAAT is not responsible for incorrect or outdated payment details on file.
- Affiliates are responsible for any applicable taxes on commission earnings. MAAT does not withhold taxes and will issue a 1099 form where required by law.
- You may request a payout status update at any time from your affiliate portal dashboard.
Trademark Use
- MAAT grants approved affiliates a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the MAAT Gathering Place of Healing name, logo, and approved marketing assets solely for the purpose of promoting MAAT services.
- All branded assets must be used as provided by MAAT. Do not alter, recolor, distort, or combine the MAAT logo with other logos.
- The MAAT name and logo may not be used in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or employment without written consent from MAAT.
- Affiliates may not register domain names, social media handles, or business names that include "MAAT" or any confusingly similar variation.
- All trademark usage must comply with the MAAT brand guidelines provided in the affiliate portal. Updated guidelines supersede prior versions.
- This license terminates immediately upon the end of your affiliate status. You must remove all MAAT-branded assets within 7 days of termination.
Prohibited Advertising Guidelines
- Do not make medical or therapeutic claims. Affiliates may not state or imply that MAAT services diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition unless expressly authorized in writing by MAAT.
- Do not use deceptive advertising, including misleading pricing, false testimonials, fake reviews, or fabricated before/after results.
- Do not bid on MAAT-branded keywords in paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) or use MAAT trademarks in ad copy without written approval.
- Do not send unsolicited commercial email (spam) or post your affiliate link in irrelevant forums, comment sections, or social media groups.
- Do not impersonate MAAT, its founders, practitioners, or staff. Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship in accordance with FTC guidelines.
- Do not create "look-alike" websites, landing pages, or social media profiles that mimic the MAAT brand or could confuse customers.
- Violations of these guidelines may result in immediate suspension, forfeiture of pending commissions, and termination of your affiliate account.
